MS 4: Chords

• Dec 22, 2022 - 17:39

Hello,
in MS3 I wrote Chords with Crtl+k all Types with (t) for maj-Chords and move to the next Note with spacebar, to the next measure with Tab.
In MS4 I can write Chords with Crtl+k but only Basic Chords with one Letter. No numbers are accept no shortcuts like t. I can't move vom one Note to the other or to the next measure.
If I import a file from MS3 the view on all Chords is correct.

All the best

I found this too but it continues to never work on my Mac. I reload the score and it still doesn't work, neither the CMD+right arrow or the 7 option to go forward a whole note, or any length of note for that matter. And unfortunately, in the shortcut menu, there's no action for "advance cursor to next measure" during chord input that I could assign it's own shortcut, tho it seems to be included in "go to next measure," which works for note navigation, but not in chord entry mode.

I have the exact same issue.
Actually "tab" does nothing, but if I then press space again it wants to change my "work space" (not sure how it's called in English. German is: "Arbeitsplatz"). I suspect tab shifts to some other functionality outside of chord symbols.
At least shift/space lets me go back a beat.
That this functionality is missing is quite annoying.

I have the same problem after installing the latest update 4.0.1.
The TAB and the Space don't work when inserting chords.
Regards
Etienne
