steps to reproduce bug
1. open the app from the app icon or through musehub
result - opens onto a white screen where i can't see or press anything
i have tried redownloading it both through the website and through musehub but it refuses to display anything after loading. i am using a monitor as my laptop display doesn't work and am unsure if this is why it wont show anything? musescore 3 still works fine so i can use that but i would love to be able to try out the new audios and features available with 4. using windows 10 home 21H2.

update - i have managed to find a workaround for the white screen of the entire application by resizing the screen until it is small which for some reason allows it to be viewed but i cannot hover above some of the tabs at the top (file, edit, view, format, tools) and the extra tabs that open for export, edit instruments, etc, show up white and so i cannot see what they say, but they are functional and clicking randomly on the white boxes that show up allow me to press options (although i have no idea what im pressing until it completes the action). ive attached a photo of what this white screen looks like on the export tab. if i could resize these tabs i reckon they would load but unfortunately the sizes are set and cant be altered. when hovering over the tabs at the top the ones i cant view appear as the "add" tab (also attached).
What happens if you remove all your style changes from the score and try to open it then?
Or export it to musicXML and try to open that?
I have exactly the same problem. Running MuseScore 4.0.2 on a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6.3.
When app opens the start screen is blank - resizing makes no difference.
If I remove the app and reboot the next time it starts up OK.
When I next restart/reboot the problem happens again.

Actually, the app has now reverted to always opening with a blank screen - even after a reboot.
Are any solutions available please?
