Lyrics Dash pad (padding) considers only preceding syllable

I increased the lyrics dash padding to get a wider spacing between syllables. That works fine, unless the text situation is dense. Apparently the pad setting is only considered relative to the preceding syllable and therefore a dash might interfere with the following syllable.

Expected behavior: The padding is considered in all directions.
