going to tie two notes together, the tie icon shows the keyboard shortcut as a plus sign. however that is the same as the sharp keyboard shortcut. as well, pressing "T" does nothing.
Linux version
I also have the windows version, and it is correct.

Sounds like you might have some shortcuts leftover from an old alpha pre-release build - it was changed to "T" some months ago. You may have other outdated / incompatibility settings leftover as well. Try Help / Revert to factory settings.
