CPU Cache Use
I am looking to purchase a new CPU and I know that AMD has some upcoming processors that have extra cache above and beyond typical. Thinking about the nature of MuseSounds, do folks think that it is worth waiting to get these higher-cache processors, or is extra cache not likely to affect the usage of MuseScore? I can tell that playback with MuseSounds is a lot more demanding than base MuseScore.

Extra cache can't hurt. But ram and an SSD are also important. Plus getting the right settings in your hardware that makes MS4 work, are all important.

I do plan on having an NVMe boot drive and 32 GB of RAM, so I doubt those would be constraining factors. I suppose I won't base my decision on MS then.

Nothing wrong with getting the best parts you can afford. There are people on the forum with high-end machines that are having problems. Gotta love technology.
