Hi,

I installed Musescore through MuseHub and as soon as it is installed it starts loading. But after a short time it crashes.
Already tried 2 times to install without sucess.

I can not install Hub at all on WIN11. Otherwise the problem is the same. After starting MuseScore 4 crashes right after splash screen (after about 1,5 seconds). Reinstall does not help. Seems there is no solution on this. I even tried different compatibility modes but with no success.

I had this problem. Changing the Sound Output in Windows 11 stopped the crash. The crash was happening with some Bose USB speakers. When I changed to a different sound output (also USB) the application opened normally.

However, if I then switched back to the speakers I wanted to use, the application remained open, but no sound output.

MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.1-230121751, revision: 9b70a8c
Windows 11 22H2.

Hello,

This was affecting me as well. The crash seems to be consistently reproducible when all output sound devices are disabled in Version 4.0.1 and 4.0.2. Allowing my speakers in the windows control panel let the app run.
