adding an entirely new voice after section break
Hey there. i have come across to a problem which i cant find a solution. I am searching various internet sources regarding adding new voices after a ''section break'' (google, chatgpt etc.) and while i can probably understand it is doable, i cant find the way to do it.
So, lets say my sheet is devided in 2 parts. In the first part i have 2 voices and in the second part i have 4 voices. How can i succeed that?
Just to catch you, i dont want to have all voices by default and enable the ''hide when empty'' option from ''stuff/part properties''. I would like to know just about the fact of adding completely new voices in the second part after a section break.

Have 4 voices (or here rather parts/instruments) and use "hide empty staves" once you've entered all the notes.
I see you don't want that, but there's no other way, currently
It might become possible if and when the Album feature gets (re-)implemented

hey and thanks for the immediate answer! My problem is that i want to be able to hide specific systems of, lets say voice 1, and i was thinking about dividing the sheet in 2 parts with ''section break''. Then i would have the voice 1 in first part with the option ''hide when empty'' enabled and i would add one new voice in the second part with the same name, but have the option ''hide when empty'' to ''neven''. So i would have succeed in hiding the same voice (since in both parts of my score it would have the same name - voice 1) for specific systems when empty, and in the following systems where i would like to not hide when empty i would change this option but for the new voice (which would have the same name - voice 1)

Entirely untested, but this might work when usung Instrument change texts ('changing' to the same instrument) at the beginning of the new section

To have a staff not be hidden on a given system even though it is set to hide when empty, add a transparent or white piece of text to a measure on that staff. Ways of providing more control over this are on the radar for future release, but there is no specific work being done on this yet.
