could musescore please fix this (check image)
whenever i don't scroll for a while, this starts appearing, and it grows as time goes by.

It's hard to say much about what is happening from just that screen shot. What OS are you on? And is this showing the window is getting smaller, or the status bar moving upwards within the window, or additional artifacts appears below the window, or something else? As it is, this looks more like an OS glitch than anything within MuseScore.

i am on windows 11. The window is moving towards the top left corner, and it stamps itself underneath each time.

I'm on W11. Never seen this on any system. Please provide us with a bit more information. Any particular score? Any interfaces hooked up ( audio or video)? What other software is running? How often do you restart your computer?

Very strange, never seen or heard of that. Do you have any unusual settings on your Windows system? Does this happen if you make MuseScore full screen? Have you tried rebooting?
I have the same issue (Windows 10), but it seems to be working fine in 4.1 from what I can tell (I don't know how to reliably reproduce the error.
