Timing and pitch errors

Today all my mscz files play at about 4x normal speed, and the pitches are about 2 octaves high.
I've removed MuseScore and reinstalled it from a fresh download, and the results are the same.
When a file is exported as MIDI and loaded back into MuseScore, the same sound is output - but when the MIDI file is checked with other programs, they play the exported-from-MuseScore MIDI file correctly.
OS: Windows 10 Version 2009 or later, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.1.0-231921402, revision: 2e3a93a
I'm out of ideas - how do I fix this issue?

MuseScore 3 works properly on this machine, btw.

One of the files that I'm using to check this out is downloaded from MuseScore.com, and is the piece by Thomas Tallis entitled "Expend, O Lord..."
