A Practice Panel / Study Guide concept (hopefully to be seen in a revised and expanded Play Panel)

• Jan 15, 2024 - 01:18

Like many others I'd like to see the MuseScore's Play Panel, revised, debugged and revived in MuseScore4 ... without regressions.

That said, I'd also like to see MuseScore offer a robust, ideal practicing environment.

Today I scratched out an interface mockup that combines the Play Panel controls with other often requested features, plus some concepts that would prove useful to practicing musicians, students, and music teachers who want to design study guides for students.

Please let me know what you think!

And here's another section where instructors could design a study guide for students. The left side show a standard exploration of a pice with unit practice. The right side outlines unit practice and review with a "backward building" memorization technique.
