Measure Numbers

• Jan 23, 2024 - 22:47

I select Forum> Style> Measure Numbers. I uncheck Measure Numbers at the top. I don't see any "Save," so I close the window. The measure numbers come back immediately. How do I save this change?

Did you try resizing the dialog? Sounds like your display resolution might be too low - can you increase it? If not, what OS are you on? Alt+O should work although I guess it might be Option+O or something else on Mac. In any case, if you say what Os, we can also show you how to move the dialog so the bottom is visible.

I just solved the problem. I moved my Taskbar from the bottom of the screen to the side. Voila! The OK button is now visible, and the two changes I made are "sticking."

I'm still surprised that I've never had this problem before.

Edit: I returned my Taskbar to the bottom of the screen and found that the screen in question now appears in its entirety. Go figure...

I had a similar problem on the Dutch forum,
also at a resolution of 1360x768.
Right-mouse click on the "Style" title bar.
Then select "Change format" or "Resize format".
Move the mouse to the top of the title bar (cursor is an up AND down arrow).
Drag the bar down slightly and then push the bar to the top of the screen.
At some point, the bottom buttons should be visible.

Well, I'm delighted to tell you that I don't have to do anything special when using the Format> Style section now. When I first posted, the bottom buttons weren't showing. But, after moving my TaskBar to the side, everything was as it should be. I prefer my TaskBar to be at the bottom of my screen, so after making the changes in my score, I moved it back. Much to my surprise, I don't have to move it anymore. I can see the buttons at the bottom of the Style screen even with the TaskBar at the bottom. I certainly don't understand why it's working correctly now, but not before.
