Separate play-back for individual verses

Is it possible, when the lyrics of 3 verses are under one musical line having slight differences in notation for the different verses, to select a particular verse and hear the particular notation for that verse?
For example, where 2 adjacent eighth notes are connected with a dashed tie, one of the verses has 2 syllables under the tied eight notes, and the other 2 verses have only one syllable (under the first eighth note) such that they have the duration of both tied eighth notes.
Being able to select a particular verse for melody play-back would be helpful in composing the note pitches.
