Metronome count-in?
MacOS; musescore 3.6.2
why is the metronome count-in faster than the Tempo marking?
Example, tempo marking is 100 bpm, the count-in is 120 bpm, then 100 bpm is started.
Weird thing is i have a very large score. This is where the count-in is faster then the tempo. I put page and section breaks for every exercise, even though the tempo marking is the same.
If i pull out a snippet and create a new file, then there's no issue count-in is same as tempo marking.
very weird.
see attached . When the attached file is part of the larger file of exercises. If starting at meas 1, everything works as expected. If i start on meas 3, count-in is faster then tempo marking.
When i created a new file (attached file), wherever i start, works as expected.
hope this makes sense

How are we supposed to understand your problem if you attach a file where everything works as expected? This works for me as expected.
Admittedly, I have already observed something similar with 3.x. It's probably due to a tempo change at this point, sometimes near repetitions or fermatas or even during loop playback - I'm not quite sure anymore. It helped if I started one or more measures before.

I supplied the file to explain the issue, otherwise words alone would not make sense to anyone.
An explanation of why that would happen is all i need to know
You should change your attitude.. not good

There is only one file attached which according to you works as expected.
"When i created a new file (attached file), wherever I start, works as expected."
Well, if file A works and file B doesn't it seems a good assumption that there is something about file B that makes it not work that is not present in file A. looking at file A which seems not to have that something as it does work isn't going to reveal what that something is in file B that is making that file not work and therefore an explanation of why that would happen is going to be based only on guess work,
Your failure provide a score that demonstrates the problem is .. erm .. not good.

Thank you, SteveBlower, for your confirmation.
It may be that my reply was not polite enough, but I am not a native speaker. So certain subtleties could be misunderstood. Maybe I have to apologize for that.
But unfortunately I don't see where I should change my attitude ...
