Changing Noteheads
I am writing some tenor drum parts for marching band and need to change the note heads to represent a cross over. When I highlight the note head I want to change and go to the notehead palette and select, nothing happens.

But for tenor drums, you already have plenty of different note heads available, including the cross. Why not do this in the first instance?
(Or, if required, edit the desired notes using the percussion palette instead the notehead palette)

True, but that cross is actually a rim. In normal tenor notation, a cross over is notated by an open head. There is a percussion palette? Where?
