(Newbie question) How to remove empty space in lyrics?

Hello, all,

I just started to use Musescore and I am making a lead sheet of the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness". There are three verses, so with my bilingual settings there are effectively 6 verses. Then there is a refrain section in the hymn, which, with bilingual setting should be 2 lines of lyrics. But Musescore keeps space enough for 6 lines of lyrics. How can I remove the extra space?

Go into the Layout palette and place a "Stave spacer fixed down" onto the stave that starts with "Morning...". Click on the bottom of the spacer and drag it up get the desired space.
