Remove "instrumentShort" from extracted part

  1. Open Brackets.mscz or create a similar multi-instrument score
  2. File > Parts...
  3. Create part for piccolo

Expected behavior: Since the extracted part only contains one instrument, there is no need to have each line labeled with the abbreviated instrument name ("instrumentShort"). It should be automatically removed during part creation.

Actual behavior: The abbreviated instrument name ("instrumentShort") appears at the beginning of every staff line even though it is the only part on the page.

(Tested using r.2440, Windows XP)
