Grouping of lyrics on a repeated line
Please see the attached photo for best reference, since I likely can't explain it as well.
I'm looking to add two lines to the same set of notes for one stanza. On the next stanza, the same line of notes will be repeated as the first. So the first two stanza lyrics need to be marked (as shown in the example) to differentiate them from the next two. The example has them separated as 1{ and 2{ . How would I do this on Musescore?

TLDR: Select the note where the lyrics begin. Press Ctrl+L and enter the first verse. Select the same note. Press Ctrl+L again and enter the second verse.

I think the OP wants to "group" the two lines since they both are part of verse 1. Each verse has three stansas but the two first ones use the same melody and this is notated with a repeat. So the top two lines of lyrics both belong to verse one, the next two lines will belong to verse two and so on. The original score uses a "brace" to group them together.
Looking a the handbook (as linked by TheHutch above) I don't think there is straight forward support for this.

Yah, yer right. The lyrics (the actual words) are entered as I described, but I would expect the offset "1" and the brace before and after would probably have to be added as text elements, then sized and positioned to appear where they ought to. (OP: Sorry I missed that at first.)

No worries! This is probably the best way to do it. Sometimes the easiest solutions is overlooked. Thanks for the suggestion!
