Deactivate tie placements within a bar
Is it possible to deactivate tie placement within a bar when importing a midi or to change the notes after importing the midi? I uploaded an image of two times the same bar of music. I find the one without the tie easier to read so i would love to have that across my whole sheet from my imported midi file.

I think quite the opposite, for the simple reason that, by removing the tie, the location of the 4th beat becomes utterly unclear.

There's no way to do it automagically because that is non-standard notation. You can certainly do it manually or by writing a plug-in.
There is a feature in MuseScore to go from the first example (without the tie) to the second example (with the tie). It is called Regroup Rhythms. See the handbook here:
