Adjust multiple sliders at once in mixer?
I often want to lower or raise the level of multiple sliders by the same amount. Is there any way to do it?

Do you know how a real mixer works?
It is used to individually adjust the volume of the instruments. Or the overall volume via the main channel.
In real mixers there is such a thing as sub-grouping, but not in Musescore.

Is subgrouping possibly on the plans for the future? This issue has long frustrated me, and I would love to see it implemented!

Mikey: Right. It really became an issue for me in a choral work with accompaniment involving about 10 different instruments. The Muse Sound Choir voices, initially, produced very low volume relative to other instruments, so I needed to bring the entire, nicely balanced accompaniment section down relative to the voices without disturbing the delicate balance among the accompaniment instruments.
The Choir voices have since been improved, but this sort of issue still comes up in any work with a lot of instruments. In what context have you discovered the need for it?

I use it to generate part-predominant MP3 for my choir. I use piano sound because it makes the individual notes clearer.

HildeK: If adjusting several channels at once in a similar manner were not a reasonable thing to want to do, why would there be subgrouping in "real" mixers?

They are different things, a real mixing console and a mixing console in Musescore.
With the real console, for example, you have to set the mix for the wood or low brass once and then make the instruments louder or quieter depending on the piece and the solo it contains. That happens live! The subgroup is a help, I could also do this with a simple console without subgroups.
Musescore doesn't focus on that at all. It is a music notation program with the option of listening to it. The mixing console is only there to adjust the volume of the individual instruments.
Of course, you can request a subgroup ...

I'd be perfectly happy with just holding down the CTRL key while I clicked on each instrument I wanted to include in a selection that I would then move up or down together.

That narrative has been around for at least as long as I've known about Musescore. (I think I first kicked the tires at version 1.3.) I never bought it. The moment it becomes a compositional tool for a significant number of users, quality of playback becomes hugely important -- because it affects the compositional process dramatically.

I'm also guessing that now, with all the third-party partnerships with producers of sound libraries, quality of playback has become even more significant in the generation of revenue.

Opine all you like. MuseScore is notation software. Just like Dorico and Sibelius.
Not all "real" mixers have subgroups. Though low-end real mixers are more capable than the one in MuseScore. Notation software isn't meant to replace a good DAW and several thousand dollars of sound libraries.

Straw man argument. Nobody's asking for Musescore to replace a DAW and several thousand dollars of sound libraries. What I gently suggested that I would appreciate is a very simple usability feature.
The "Musescore is notation software" argument can be used to dismiss any feature improvement suggestion related to playback whatsoever, as you have beautifully illustrated. If the development team had that attitude there would be no playback at all in the product.

Look. I'm not against group faders. I'd just rather see that development time spent on things that might be of use to more people. By all means, request it.
Two things I'd like to see ( I wouldn't suggest anyone else would care) would to be able to CTRL click a start measure in a score for several different instruments. I.E. Flute trumpet viola ,for example and hear just those instruments, Or a universal note length setting You could set it to 95 0r 97 %. It could be over ridden by a slur so that in playback you could hear phrasing

Nice idea for multi-instrument soloing and probably easier to implement than fader groups. Add it as a feature request to the issue log.
Regarding which developments get done: I don't know if there's a priority list but I think that developers can pick and choose anything that interests them.
Phrasing also sounds useful. You could add this as a separate feature request to the issue log.
Make an official request for this on the GitHub issue list. It would be a useful addition to the mixer. Even the ctrl-click idea that you mentioned would be worthwhile.
A request on GitHub would at least get it on the official radar.

It might not get implemented quickly but you never know, a developer might just fancy tackling it.
