What version of MuseScore, what OS, what soundfont, and can you post a score that demonstrates the problem and precise step by step instructions to reproduce?
Also note "critical" is reserved for crashes and data corruption, and the "assigned" field is meant to indicate the developer who will *fix* the problem, not the person who reported it.
I'm using beta 2 on most recent version of Windows 8.1 and have the same problem. the problem exists when you write any note for tenor, snare, or bass, I'm using the default soundfont.
Being as no-one has responded to this for 2 years, and the Marching Percussion soundfont is now incorporated into the default soundfont I suggest we can close this.

Don't assign to yourself, if you don't intend to fix it yourself too...
I don't understand what you mean. I don't hear any notes that don't play. Which spoecific note of which specific measure is not playing?
Have you installed the marching percussion soundfont?
