Crash on startup

The program crashes on startup - the only message is "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" which gives no further information. (The archive was extracted in Japanese locale because I have other applications which depend on it. However, earlier builds run correctly if extracted that way, so locale might not be a factor.)
