Corrupt measure created when fill an empty measure with slashes starting after first beat

Ubuntu Studio 14.04, GIT commit: f6d6a52

1) new score, two staves, 4/4
2) second staff, first measure, enter quarter note, dotted half
3) select the dotted half + the next measure
4) extend selection to top staff
5) edit / tools / fill with slashes

Result: a slash is entered on beat 2 of the top staff, but the nothing on beats 3 or 4, and the measure rest remains.
