GIT commit: a925ae0
Windows 7 64Bit

Comments

a) the issue tracker should be kept in English, so all developers can read it ;-)
b) please don't assign to yourself, unless you intend to fix it yourself too
c) the screenshot you mentioned is missing.
d) I can't reproduce, but maybe I didn't understand the problem correctly, probabby due to the missing screenshot.
You have a score with parts, do an 'export parts' as mp3, and then in the score with parts the parts lost their names?

Now i try it in english and i also put the mscz-file as an attachement.

The BWV1068-2.mscz is Buggy, the BWV1068-1.mscz is correct. An ""Export-parts" was made at the BWV1068-2.mscz-file.
The Arrangement was ready, i printed it to pdf-printer with the print function of musescore. Then i tried to do an export-parts in mscz-files, ist was an correct Export with summary 5 differential named files - top!!!
Then i tried to export the same in mp3-format, and now the names of the parts were empty.
The functionality of the Registers is correct, only the names are empty!
(see screenshot)
Thank you very much for your answer!!!

Hmm, OK, I still can't reproduce.

I've opened BWV1068-1.mscz in 2.0 Beta 2 and did an 'export parts' as mp3. Worked just fine and no issue with part names getting lost.
Has your mp3 export been successful?

BWV1068-2.mscz is much smaller, that big difference in size can't just be the missing partnames?

I remember, that there was the MuseScore-question "the mp3-file exists", the result was only one mp3-file with the Name of the mainscore and not 5 files with the names of the parts.

Oh, those two mscz files are indeed completely different, different movemnetns it seems
I though the -2 file was the result of the -1 after export.
Do you have a backup of the -2 file before the export?

I tested a second time the function with a copy of my files. The Problem was before, i tryed to Export mp3. When the names are empty, the Export would write 5 times to the same filename, because the Name of the part is empty.
Sorry, i cann not realise, why and when the names got empty.
How can i rename the parts?
Ther is no way to rename a saved part-definition in the dialogbox "Auszüge" (parts).
Thank you for your answers!!!!!!

OK, so the score was broken before the mp3 export. Explains pretty much why you only got one mp3.
Unfortunately you can't renamed existing parts in MuseScore.
But you can edit the mscx file, not an operation for the faint-hearted though ;-)

I'll mark this issue fixed (check further up for my attempt to fix your broken file), feel free to reopen if you have steps that lead to those partnames getting lost.

Thank you very much - it is correct!!!!!

Can you repair the -3 file also?
There was the same bug.

The function "Rename parts" in the dialogbox "Auszuge" ("parts") is a "nice to have" for me.....

Hans
