Clef changes mishandled after joining measures

Ubuntu 14.04, GIT commit: 8c2401f

1) new score, treble clef, 4/4
2) add clef change (bass clef, say) to measure 3
3) select measures 1 and 2
4) edit / measure / join
5) enter quarter notes into measure 1: C D E F G A B C

Result: starting with the fifth note, the notes display as if they were in bass clef - many ledger lines above the staff.

The clef map is out of sync at this point, I guess. I don't see an obvious way to recover by deleting or adding clefs, although it *does* fix itself on save / reload.

It also seems clef changes added *after* the join have issues:

1) new score, treble staff template, 4/4
2) join measures 1 & 2
3) add line break after measure 2
4) add bass clef change to first measure of second system

Result: the "courtesy" clef change at the end of the joined measure is full size, and right clicking it does not display the option to hdie the courtesy clef as it normally would.
