Musescore won't open scores
Recently, many scores I have created either open with no information or just crash MuseScore.
I could have lost many, many scores due to this issue but may have salvaged most by frequent backup.
The name of the score is displayed in the tab, but otherwise it's a blank page with nothing in the navigator either.
This is happening on both Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04. I hesitate to open any score for fear it will be gone next time I start MuseScore.
I'm running build 2438 of 0.9.6 as it is the latest version released by Ubuntu.

There is any information in your bug report about how to reproduce the problem but until I hear otherwise I'll assume it is related to:
