STR:

1. Begin new score in cut time.
2. Make sure that not all of the score fills the window
3. Press "N" and set the timing to 1/2 notes.
4. Press shift from the starting rest to convert rests from whole rests to 1/2 rests.
5. Continue until cursor disappears from the window.

Expected result: the info in the window should change to reflect the new position of the cursor.
Actual result: the cursor leaves the field of vision, no update to window.

Comments

Confirmed using r. 2834 nightly, Windows 7.

It looks like this behavior is limited to input of rests. (input of notes works as expected).

You would have to move the cursor back and forth in order to get the screen refresh to where you're. It takes some frustration to realise how it works. It would be better if the screen redraw checks with the visibility of the cursor.
