I'm assuming the original post is referring to V0.9.6. When doing a “File”, “Save As” the dialog box automatically appends “.mscz” to the filename. To save as a “.wav”, remove the “.mscz” from the filename and select “Save as type:”, “Wave Audio (*.wav)”. V0.9.5 does not have this issue since it has no default file name.

Which issue? You can choose Wav from the filetype combo box right?
