I saw on a thread about printing (other than my own) that the problem of the right side being cut off had been solved. I was so excited!

I instantly went to the nightlies and down loaded and installed the version referenced above.

For a complete test I went back to an unaltered 1.3 score and cold printed it. I was very happy to see that the margin problem had been over come - I had complete pages.

However, as referenced in one of my previous notifications, Musescore is still sending an instruction causing my printer (Brother HL 22) to go into manual mode, thereby interrupting the printing and necessitating another instruction from me.

I am marking this as major because it seems to me that a program dedicated to producing manuscript should not be causing print problems.

So far I can't reproduce. Is it just that score, just some scores, or all scores?

Any information you can provide - system configuration, printer configuration (networked?), printer settings, printer options chosen in dialog, etc - that would help me reproduce your problem would be helpful. I have a different Brother printer, HL-L2360DW, so there is at least some chance I might have similar settings I can make.

And can you be more specifiuc about the error you are seeing? Some sort of dialog box that pops up, but then the print completees normally anyhow? What does the dialog say? Is it similar to http://musescore.org/en/node/49761? I wouldn't think so, since that was specifically about an issue with landscape mode, and that doesn't seem to be involved here.

All scores. No Network involved.

Attached is a ping of the settings of the printer, which is set as the default printer.
All other applications work properly.

If you want to see the pop-up, set your printer to "manual" and you will get the sequence of windows that appear.

As you can see from the printer settings dialog that I have set up, it is letter, and set to automatically go to the tray.

Musescore apparently switches the setting to manual and tells me to load the paper for the first page, etc. As the paper is in the tray, I simply click "Okay" and the printer then prints the file.

There should be no need to okay this.

I don't really understand what "manual mode" is, do you mean the paper select specifically? You are asked to select the paper source, even though the printer is set to automatically select?

Do you only see the dialog upon the first page? Does it say anything about custom paper size? Can you post the exact wording of the message? Hmm, is it a dialog box on your computer, or something on the print itself? When I try setting my printer explicitly to manual paper select, I don't get a dialog box, but I get a message on my printer. Is that what you are seeing?

Also, when I bring up my printer settings window, it looks similar to yours, but I don't see the "Scaling" stuff in the lower left. Do you see that when bringing up the printer settings from other programs too, and is it also set to "Fit to Paper Size"?

Interesting, it specifically talks about duplexm yet your settings image shows you are not in duplex mode - unless it is set that way in the printer itself? What happens if you explicitly turn off duplex printing? Try it using settings on the printer itself, try it using the preferences from the print dialog in MuseScore, and try just unchecking the two-sided option in Layout / Page Settings.

Sorry to have to keep asking questions, but until I fugre out how to reproduce, all I can do is ask for information that might help me be able to reproduce.

Nothing really changed; I couldn't reproduce this when reported, but I'm curious if anyone who was seeing this behavior sees any change with the RC.
