grace note after collides with grace note before next note

See grace-after.png , only the 1st and 3rd (single note) chords have grace notes, 1st measure though looks as if they all have a normal grace note. In 2nd measure manually adjusted to what I'd expect it to look

The handbook,, says "may have to be manually adjusted", which to me indicates that they indeed by default show to far apart from their note/chord

Furthermore, just add 'normal' grace notes to 2nd and 4th note and see how they collide with the grace after from note 1st and 3rd note:

Title grace note after looks more like normal grace note, but to the next note/chord grace note after collides with grace note before next note

The basic appearance of grace note after - showing up just before the next chor d- is iby design. That's the whole point of these - to be used for trill endings and other ornaments where this is the expected result. I'm not aware of any real world use case where grace notes are ever positioned as in the "expected" result in the first example above.

But while it would be very rare to then have a normal grace note on the following note, they probably shouldn't collide.
