How do you put the pallete back up?

I accidentally took my pallete down from the right-hand side, and I can't figure out how to put it back up. I've tried looking it up online and even uninstalling and reinstalling, but it won't work. I can bring up the pallete in a window that I can move around with F9, but it won't show up on the right like it used to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
