How to stop the rest sign auto filled in
I want to compose like the picture below:
But I can't get rid of the rest sign auto filled in the measure.
Please help me to do it.

When you first created your score, MuseScore asked if you wanted a pickup measure, that would have been a good time to have selected this. But don't worry, it's not too late. Right-click the measure and change the "actual duration" to 3/8. Also, you may wish to set the "Exclude from measure count" option so the pickup measure is not numbered "1".
