Start a score with rests
Hi! I'm new here! :)
I'm using musescore to write my choir's sheets and I need help.
I have a music sheet that I need to write in musescore, and it starts with a "C" symbol. Each compass is made of 4/4, except the first one, where I only need to write 2 black notes (the ones that last 1 tempo).
How can I add only 2 notes in the first compass, without changing it to 2/2?

Welcome! When you first create the score, add a pickup measure: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/create-new-score-0#time-signature-pic…
Or if you neglected to do that, you cn change the first measure to a pickup later by right clicking it, Measure Properties, changing the duration to 2/4 and checking the "Exclude from measure count" box.
