Instrument name in parts
I've only just started using MS2 but doing a search I can't find an answer so here goes: In MS1 when I create the parts from a score the instrument name appears to the left of the stave and I can edit the instrument name in the stave properties window.
In MS2 the instrument name is placed at the top left of the part when the part is created. The stave properties window for each part shows the instrument name as usual but the instrument name does not appear on the part to the left of the stave.
So how do I get the instrument name to the left of the stave as usual on parts created from a score in MS2?

Stil → General... → Score → untick 'Hide Instrument Name when there is only one' (or some such)
But note, it isn't really all that common in my experience for parts to include staff names. I have indeed seen it both ways, so it is good we provide the option, but as far as I can tell, our current default is really best. This is no doubt genre-dependent, so I'd be curious to see how different publishers in different genres handle this.

OK thanks for the solution. I should have realized it was there. Yes it's excellent that MS provides the option and I've seen it both ways too, but on the quartet parts I'm working with I prefer it at the stave.
