adding intrument name to existing score, existing part
I have a score for wind band. There are 3 trumpet parts. They are all 3 in my score, but the 1st trumpet part has no instrument name in the left margin of the score. I do not need to add an instrument, I merely need to ADD the name to the score. How is this accomplished?

Right-click on any measure in that staff and go to staff properties. You can fill in both the long name and the short name for the staff.
On a side note... is this anywhere in the handbook?

I am having issues with this as well: I have done as you said, but still nothing appears to the left of the treble clef. I'm trying to add the name "Harpsichord" to my systems... Could you help?
