In LibreOffice's Startcenter (sic), when you move your cursor over one of the thumbnails a small [x] appears in the corner, offering you the opportunity to remove it.
Just in case the OP wasn't aware - you can clear the list completely by going to File / Recent. Also, it seems that scores are automatically removed from the list when MuseScore first starts up if they cannot be found. So you could try closing MuseScore, renaming the score(s) you want removed from the list, and then opening MuseScore to get it to reset the list. You could rename the file(s) back if you want.

You could just remove the corresponding templates and or their directories. On Windows look under C:\Program Files (x86)\MuseScore 2\templates
