No ledger lines outside the staves when you move a note in a chord
1. Create piano score and a tri-chord
2. Drag one of the notes from the chord anywhere outside the bass and treble staves
Result: No ledger lines appear.
Here's a screencast to demonstrate the issue.
Using Mac 10.4.11 and MuseScore 0.9.6.3.
Comments
This might be fixed in 2.0 nightly build (4122), but I'm unable to check properly.
Can someone confirm?
It seems to be already fixed in 1.0. I put it on fixed. Reopen if I'm wrong.
It's a problem in 1.0 (also tried on Mac 10.6.6) - did you try a 3-note chord and pull each note up/down outside the staves?
It's not.
1. Open attached score.
2. Drag either the C or E upwards to where ledger lines will appear.
Result: Ledger lines don't appear.
Using MuseScore 1.2 and 2.0 Nightly Build (5490) - Mac 10.7.3.
guifre, if you mark something as fixed, can you please include more details?
Confirmed issue in 1.2, and definitely minor. The ledger lines do appear when the note is released.
Sorry!
The thing is that it works well if you move the top note when the stem is upwards (and bottom note when downwards).
That's why I thought it was fixed.
Sorry again.
Thanks :).
See original discussion .
I cannot reproduce this in df3b4a2
Might be fixed?
I managed to reproduce the other day and still can.
Drag the E upward, or the C downward in this score (taken from #5).
Using MuseScore 2.0 Nightly Build (eee9f5f) - Mac 10.7.5.
I just doublechecked and cannot reproduce using eee9f5f on Kubuntu 12.04
So, seems to be platform dependant...
I think a duplicate has been filed: #36351: No ledger lines when moving notes
Cannot reproduce in 2.0.3 and nightly 755bf05. Fixed?
