For the record, the PR back then was https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/1903 and it failed Travis tests because in MusicXML the tag name apparenytly is "tocoda", not "alcoda" and the PR did not just change the string "To Coda" to "Al Coda" (or "Alla Coda"), but also changed the internals in the code, including the MusicXML tags:

Workaround: Once To Coda is inserted in the score, double click on it and change the text to what you want.
oh yes, I know, and should have stated that.
The remark is just to have more consistant tools.
