1. Ensure all soundfonts are deleted and close program.
2. Open program.
3. Go to 'Synthesiser'.
4. Click on the folder icon.
5. Navigate to a soundfont only using the keyboard and press 'enter'.
Result: The program is in a disfunction.
Using 2.0 nightly build (3996) and Mac 10.4.11.

Can someone confirm if this is now fixed? Think it might be because of the different style you access folders - what is it called?
Using 2.0 nightly build (4078) and Mac 10.4.11.
I didn't know how to navigate to the file using only the keyboard, so I used the mouse instead. I didn't get a crash. Is that what you mean by "dysfunction"?
Dysfunction means everything has been greyed out, including the fact I can't quit (I must force quit).
It could be a Mac-specific bug, possibly.
I'm going to mark this as fixed.
Using MuseScore 2.0 nightly build (4089).
This behaviour also happens in 1.0 if you open a score via keyboard.
Using Mac 10.4.11.
What do you mean by open by keyboard ? This issue is fixed or not for you ?
Fixed, because it's not apparent in the trunk.
I've narrowed it down - it might be a folder issue. I created a new one and copied the contents over - it opens (File>Open) fine via keyboard navigation.
What do you think was wrong?
I think I've finally worked out the reason! A folder at the file location.
#9935: [Mac 10.4] Opening file located next to a folder via keyboard causes grey out
I wondered why it was happening to the Soundfonts at one point (I believe at the time, they were all in the same folder, no sub-folders), but perhaps it's because it's a package with content (even though it's the one SF2 file)?
See #9935: [Mac 10.4] Opening file located next to a folder via keyboard causes grey out
It happens when you open something via keyboard, and the file selected has a folder located in the same place.
Both are the same error, so I'm sure one fix will correct them.
I tested this on MuseScore 1.0 and Mac 10.6.7 - there's no problem, so it must just be 10.4.11.
Are such things not fixable on 10.4.11? There's been a few issues so far and I just wondered.
Affects 1.0 as well.
As it seems a File dialog issue similar to #9935: [Mac 10.4] Opening file located next to a folder via keyboard causes grey out. I put this one as duplicate.
