If Ininderstand correctly, that's a triplet - three eighths in the space of two (one beat), with the first two eighths replaced by a quarter. So, select quarter as the full duration, Ctrl+3 to divide into thirds which will give you three eighths, the re-select quarter, enter the quarter, then select eighth and enter the eighth. In other words, 5 Ctrl+3 5 C 4 D to enter C & D this way.
If it's just plain swing, you can notate it as straight eighth notes and add swing text: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/swing
