If the user tries to change the zoom level using the zoom box on the File Operations toolbar, the zoom box selection changes, but the zoom level doesn't actually change.

This was inadvertently broken by one of the changes in issue #306509: Improvements to zoom functionality.

Fixed a problem introduced in #306509 that caused the new zoom level to fail to be applied if the user tried to change it using the toolbar zoom box._
