Key signature choices not showing in dialog
I installed the RC for MuseScore2 on Friday and notice that when I go to create a new score or to select a key signature for an existing score, the selection panel only shows empty short staves. I can guess at which key signature should be where, and when I click and drag from that guess over to the staff, the correct key signature appears. How can I get the correct key signatures to show up in the key signature selection panel?

Tried that -- it made no difference. Thanks for the suggestion.
If factory reset didn't help (this would have reset your palettes), then my guess is that you have an incompatible older version of one or more of MuseScore's private fonts - MScore, MScore1, or Bravura - installed on your system. These fonts should never be installed; MuseScore must be able to use its own compiled-in version.
If that doesn't help, could you post a screenshot so we can see what you are seeing? The scores themselves then look OK?

I did have musescore1.3 installed -- I uninstalled that and saw no difference but I checked and I did have Bravura installed (not Mscore or Mscore1) so I uninstalled Bravura and now things are fine. Thank you very much for your help!

MuseScore 1.3 for sure has not installed Bravura, so you should be save installed 1.3 again ;-)
