Project
Version 3.4.2/3.5 alpha/3.x dev/master (Windows 10)
1) Default score
2) Add the C fret diagram in measure 5 (no matter, just to avoid the Title frame)
3) Select the chord name (C)
4) In Inspector: disable automatic placement
5) "Y" offset: change to - 1 sp.
6) Save/Quit/Reload
Result: unexpected, custom offset is lost, chord name is totally misplaced on the diagram.
Comments
regression vs. what?
Well, I'm not sure I understand everything anymore, and how it's supposed to work.
For the first issue, the offset has been applied in the "Element" section. I probably made a mistake (a common one by the way), I'm not in the right place?
Or is it supposed to work anyway after Save?
But if I select the same chord, and change to "Below", the chord name doesn't move. This is not the expected result (at least for me!) Having said that, I can conceive that the use case may not be frequent and habitual.
Finally, instead of Inspector, if I go to Style -> Chords symbols -> Distance to fret diagram (default 1.00 sp): if I change to 1.50 sp, nothing moves. Why? Only from 2.00. And you can't get intermediate values, 1.20 and so on.
Expected behaviour, or not, or something buggy (eg for 1.50) ?
See #304057: Chord Symbol offset keeps resetting to zero. Or reopen if you think it is different, but it sounds the same to me.

Okay, so let's wait until the PR is merged to verify that.
