piano midi file: staves left and right hand inverted
I recorded a piano accompaniment in Logic Pro X and exported it as midi. When opening it in Musescore, the treble staff is at the bottom and the bass part is on top.
What is causing this?
How can I get the staves in the correct order?

As for switching the staves, open the instruments dialog by pressing i, select staff 1 and click the down arrow button to move it below staff 2 (the staves will be renumbered).
How to make it work all the time? It sounds like Logic Pro X it exporting the staves backwards. MuseScore normally imports these correctly.
Press I and move the staves into the correct order (then delete and add the brace and fix the barlines)

Thanks for reply. The result however is a very illogical piano part, redundant rests, wrong rhythms and stems that should be up instead of down in the lead part.

I didn't look closely before so I didn't notice how bad the import is. I stand by the poor quality of the export leading to this since I've seen large numbers of imports look good in MuseScore including piano imports.

Coulissen it be that the strange result is caused by large use of the sustain pedal?
