3.5 Linux: Cannot select multiple markings

I tried selecting staccato markings from multiple parts of an orchestra score I had... with click+ctrl of course. I couldn't select more than 2... it was either that or I everytime I selected articulations from other parts it unselected everything from the other parts. They were all staccati if you wonder and I wanted to make them invisible... I ended up selecting 2 at a time. Does that happen only to me?

Ctrl+click is how you select a list of discontuguous objects - cltr+click them each one by one. Shift+click is how you select a range that includes everything between two points - click one thing, Shift+click another to select everything between them.

That's not unique to MuseScore, those are pretty universal gestures across all applications and operating systems (except on macOS, Ctrl probably becomes Cmd).

But, something new to MuseScor 3.5 is how Shift+click works with respect to individual markings like staccato. Prior to 3.5, Shift+click only created true ranges that include all notes, rests, and others symbols between a start and end point, and this only worked when Shift+clickings a note or rest. Starting with 3.5, you can click one staccato, Shift+click another to select all staccato markings between those two points.
