I was looking for a "Goto" measure function so searched the manual for "Goto" but couldn't find it, so I browsed the manual and found "Find" under navigation commands.
I was a little surprised when I pressed Ctrl-F that the input box was labelled "Go To". This seems to be a small inconsistency. Either the input box should be labelled "Find" or the function and manual should be changed to "Go To".
Comments
We, this function really is a Go To (measure, page, rehearsal mark) rather than a search, but does use the 'Find' shortcut, Ctrl+F, from other programs, so is sort of in-between.
Ctrl+G though is used already for Figured Bass (seemingly fitting quite well to the German translation,"Generalbass".
I'd rather 'fix' the handbook (only) to additionally mention "Go To"
Maybe fix the Menu entry Edit > Find too, to Edit > Find / Go To

The handbook does already mention this. For me it seems odd that I select an option for"Find" and then get a box labelled "Go To". Does this difference also show in non English implementations?
Anyway, it's quite trivial so not a problem, more of an observation.
It is "Bearbeiten > Suchen" in German (we search rather than find ;-)), but "Gehe zu" in the input box
My all-time favorite saying, paraphrased from Matsuo Basho: "Seek what the masters sought, not what they found".
Workaround: Swap shortcuts so that Ctrl-G is "Go To" and Ctrl-F is "Figured Bass". In English this also keep the initial letter as a helpful reminder.
