Rejoining Split Staff

I THOUGHT I wanted a slpit staff for a limited number of measures so I split, added the other voice where needed and hid the empty measures where I did not. It worked like a charm.

I later decided I did not want split measures.

IS my only option to Implode the split measures, delete what was in the non-destination measures and continue to “Hide Empty Measures,” or is there a way to just simply rejoin split measures as if they were never created or delete just the 2nd staves in the system?

If there is a way, I’m missing it...

If there isn’t, I guess I wonder why not?

I know there is a way to do what you want, but I'm not clear on what it is you want. Attach the score you want to fix and explain the results you want.

You'll definitely want to copy paste or implode those measure back into the first staff if you want to retain their contents.

You may then remove that (now completely empty) staff in the Instruments dialog (Edit → Instruments or I)
