You can't paste system text currently. I have no idea what an override button is. Insert is used to insert measures in MuseScore.

Try this: highlight the inserted text and use Ctrl+C;
Select the next rest or note and use Ctlr+Maius+T->Ctrl+V (on 3.6 works)

Maius is Shift in English. I almost mentioned this method. Copy the contents of a system text, create a new one and paste the contents in the new system text.

Automated translators do some interesting things sometimes like calling the mistake or error a joke just now.

That term (joke) was intentional. By double-clicking in the window on the right I can opt for an alternative, but all it takes is adding even just one letter and the previous version is shown again (and very often I copy and paste carelessly). Google used to do this too.
Has drumix solved it?
Edit: Rectification, I hadn't added the final c. Well done deepl.

You can change the shortcuts, I've done that with a few myself, but insert inserts measures in MuseScore on windows system. I seem to remember it's a different shortcut on Macs.

The question of the o.p. about insert key has nothing to do with the shortcut to insert measures.
He means that once in text edit mode the insert key should behave like it does in any text editing application even notepad.
That doesn't mean that the behaviour of the insert key outside of text edit mode would be modified, there it would stay insert measures.
