Fingering +
+, the ancient way to notate the fingering for thumb. I added it to the palette
but it overlaps the head of the note. Is there any way to "instruct" it to behave like the default ones?

It works here: eg add first fingering 0 (for piano, so above note) on your score ->Edit it for the sign '+' from keyboard -> Drag and drop in the palette. Done! And placement is ok, as for the fingering 0

Thanks I will try it right away, I had used 1 instead of zero.
MuseScore uses the text style of the symbol to determine default placement. So if you want it to behave like LH guitar fingering, be sure to start with one of the LH guitar fingerings, or change the text style before adding it to the palette.
