Different screen sizes affect text objects
I currently have two screens of different sizes, a smaller laptop (hp) screen and a larger monitor (LG). I also updated to MuseScore 3.6 shortly after release.
After trying around a bit, I noticed that text objects in musescore files behave differently depending on the screen they're on. I was able to reproduce the bug I encountered by creating a musescore file ("musescore_bug.mscz"), adding a few text objects and moving it between screens. On my large screen, I took a screenshot of it ("large_screen.jpeg") and then moved the application to the smaller screen. The screenshot of what the file looked like there is named "small_screen.jpeg.".
It appears that there seem to be problems regarding the size of text. If I am correct, everything - obviously - got smaller when moved onto the smaller screen, except the text. This causes the text to be proportionally larger on the smaller screen.
I am aware that this is a very specific and rare problem, but I hope it isn't be too hard to fix. Good luck to the developers!

I tried around a bit more and found out that it doesn't matter if I move the application onto the small screen or not. Even when I start it on the small screen and create a new project, the text size issue appears. A screenshot ("small_screen_img.png") is provided.
I am now questioning if this is a problem with my system/version of musescore/whatever, so It'd be helpful if someone else would test if this applies to them as well.
In case it helps, I have set my larger screen to the main one.
Your attached score file shows page size set to A4 (210mm x 297mm).
At 100℅ zoom, Page View, do those measurements display accurately on either of your monitors? (Check with a ruler or an actual sheet of paper)
What OS? Windows?

I am on the latest version of Windows 10.
The measurements aren't the same in mm, but in pixels. I used a pixel ruler and on both screens the pages are around 675 pixels wide, but of course the pixels have different measurements so using a ruler for actual width I'd get different results for both monitors.

Indeed that "100% zoom equals actual width on paper" is only valid for the primary screen.

We don't really care about that 100% setting do we?
The important thing is that the relative size between notes and text has absolutely no reason to change by screen, right? And if it does like it seems to do here that's clearly a bug.

This is it, thank you. I didn't notice the issue was known before, sorry.
I would expect some differences because the default resolution and DPI will be different for different size monitors.

You "expect" differences in the ratio between note head size and letter size between screens???
And which ratio do you expect when you export to pdf or print the score ? Still another one?

I only said "some differences." And there are.
However, I set up my laptop (15" display) and a 22" monitor. I don't know if that is a big enough difference. If I load your bug file, here is what I see: The monitor shows more of the page because it uses a different resolution. But whether I'm in duplicate or extended display, there is no difference in text size or placement.
I can't answer you ratio question because I don't see any difference. But I would suspect that export would be based on the primary display. No???
If I get a chance, I'll do the same with my surface. It has 10"display.

OK. So I guess i need a little clarity on your procedure and setup. I'm trying to duplicate your issue.
But I tried two different laptops with a larger monitor hooked up. No matter if the screens were extended or duplicate, both screens showed what Jmstringer photo showed. Which is not like any of your pics.
