When you say "header", I assume you mean, the title frame? To edit the text there, simply double-click it. When you are done, simply click outside the text. You can then edit anything else in your score normally.

If you continue to have trouble, please provide more details - and perhaps a screen recording. Also be sure to update to MuseScore 4 - this score appears to have been created with an older version.

By clicking on ‘title frame’ the box and score title are highlighted in blue.
Double clicking on the score title causes the programs to freeze. Clicking outside the title frame does nothing and the program has to be terminated through Windows Task Manager.
Yes this score was created on MuseScore 3.6.2 and transfer to Musescore 4.0.1

Nearly the same here for me, and reproducable this way:
- create a new score
- choose any one instrument and click "create"
- in the new document double click in title header
- press RETURN
--> MuseScore freezes
When finishing editing the title by clicking outside of the header, everything works well.

system info: OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.2-230651553, revision: dbe7c6d

When doing the same on my Laptop, everything works well. Hitting RETURN when editing title inserts a newline.

system info (same): OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.2-230651553, revision: dbe7c6d

Some differences (which sometimes leads to comparably obscure problems) between the two systems - my PC has:
- AMD CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics, 3901 MHz, 6 Kern(e), 12 logische(r) Prozessor(en))
- 4K display

Hopefully this information helps tracking the bug down.
